Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and success-driven Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals. As an Outside Sales Representative, your duties will include creating and submitting sales reports, building relationships with new and existing customers within your assigned territory, assessing their requirements, and successfully negotiating deals. The ideal candidate should possess excellent customer service and negotiation skills and have a strong desire to close deals. Previous experience in the signage industry is not required as we will provide training. However, experience in outside sales in home remodeling, commercial HVAC, commercial cleaning, or promotional merchandise will be an added advantage. Please submit a resume and a cover letter.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement an effective sales strategy

  • Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and networking

  • Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory

  • Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales

  • Meet or exceed designated sales targets

  • Ensure timely and accurate quotes to customers

  • Drive our new marketing message to new qualified opportunities

  • Work effectively across the departments to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in the CRM program

  • Attend weekly sales meetings to report progress

  • Perform field checks as needed for projects

  • Attend trade shows or other marketing and networking events

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/ GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2-3 years of previous outside sales experience with a successful history of prospecting and closing deals

  • Understanding of the consultative sales approach and a focus on solution selling

  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A positive attitude and ability to be persistent

  • Result-oriented team performer with the motivation and skill to assist in driving the sales process to meet long and short-term goals

  • Excellent computer skills, including CRM software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Additional Requirements

  • Download four company-paid applications to personal cellphone to track time, mileage, make/answer business calls, and upload pictures to production software.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Successful pre-hire behavioral assessment

  • Satisfactory background check and reference checks

  • Provide required documentation for I-9 within three days of hire

  • Must complete a 90-day introductory period
